This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Tried this place on a whim when craving Indian and it did not disappoint. Loved the paneer chana masala and garlic naan, but the samosas were the star of the show! There’s a parking lot in the back and a sign on the back door of the building that says β€œcustomer entrance.” Chatted with the owner Tony a bit and he shared they make everything from scratch and have been in business 42 years. Can’t believe we just discovered this gem and can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu

Absolutely love the food here!! I've never had anything bad here. And the service is phenomenal too! The owner(s?) are super friendly and an absolute delight as someone who's not super experienced with Indian food. It's so friendly and perfectly seasoned food in a simple, casual restaurant. Enjoy! ❀️

I'd been craving some Rogan Josh, and India Town was close to an appointment. Walked in at 7pm on a Friday and the place was empty. This gave my wife some concern, but we hung in there and we're glad we did! Tony, the owner, greeted us. Don't let his name fool you, he looks to be Indian. He explained that they had just remodeled and it looked very nice. I ordered the Rogan Josh and my wife ordered the Chicken Curry. Tony asked about spice level and I said I like it spicy and my wife said she likes some spice. Tony nailed the spice! I got my Rogan Josh fix, but what blew me away was the Chicken Curry. I've had it several times in my life and I'm indifferent, but I was floored by Tony's, by far the best I've had. This guy makes it all from scratch from hand me down recipes and by no means deserves an empty restaurant on a Friday night. Go now, thank Tony and I later. 10 outta 10, would recommend, will be back!

The food was absolutely incredible! This was easily the best Indian Food I’ve ever had! I had the vegetable samosas, Rajma Aloo, and vegan garlic naan. The building and dining room look rough, but the food was so good and flavorful! It is a tad on the pricey side. Honestly, I’d rather have a little smaller portion, and knock the price down a little bit.

My wife and I came here at the recommendation of a friend who has good taste. The food was absolutely fantastic and we were greeted warmly by the owner who was very kind. He was very friendly and told us about the business and made the food promptly. He had great pride in his restaurant as he should. I went with his recommendation and just got the butter chicken which was great and my wife got a vegetable dish which she absolutely loved too. The food was very filling and left good tastes in our mouths. The garlic naan was delightful. It was very crispy on the outside and soft on the inside at the same time; the perfect texture. We will definitely be back even though we live on the other side of town, and we will pass the recommendation on as our friend recommend it to us.
